Following the Success of its recently concluded Miss Tourism Nigeria pageant, Qhue Concepts has launched another bold initiative; the first ever Men’s Fashion Week Nigeria (MFWN) 2016 project.
Men’s Fashion Week Nigeria created with a vision to
“Redefine the future of fashion and Integrate
Nigeria’s men fashion onto the global fashion world”.
The event which is to be powered by leading industry experts will include an invitation to the best of established and upcoming designers to participate.
The MFWN is designed to provide the best tools for both Nigerian and African means menswear designers to get the exposure they require not just across Africa but on the international scene.
The MFWN will feature not only resident Nigerian designers but mainly acts as the ending celebration of some of the most creative and talented designers across Africa showing the high-end ready to wear collection and exclusive pieces for the local luxury market, defining a prêt-à-couture appreciated by the African elite.
“Fashion is the most visible and exciting reflection of globalization. It has a unique ability to bring together influences, perspectives and creativity from different cultures and traditions.
This global intermingling and fusion of ideas is core to Fashion's ability to remain relevant, inspiring and challenging says Smart Courage, the Artistic Director of the project.
"In achieving this unique event in bringing Men’s Fashion Week to Nigeria, it is our aspiration to likewise bring the world to Lagos. There is an enormous creative fashion talent, depth of experience and skill in Nigeria and Africa that, without doubt, would be both appreciated and be of great interest to the rest of the world.
