Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2016-Fashion Business Series

Fashion Business Series is scheduled to take place during Lagos Fashion and Design Week 2016 on
the October 27th and is themed “Beyond Fashion”. Fashion is often misrepresented as purely finished garments; the ecosystem includes textiles, leather
goods and more. For this edition we want to shed spotlight on all the other elements of fashion.

FBS commences with a 30 minute keynote speech by a leading figure in the private or public sector. The other sessions are panel talks with 4-5 industry leaders relevant to the topic chosen. Each session ends with a 20 minute Q + A session.

• Bloggers and Influencers and their role in promoting fashion
• Finding and Building Relationships with Angel Investors
• Creating Value through fashion
